Barron's Embellished List Of Playwright Credits

NOTE: Unpublished/Unproduced plays do not count towards promotion/tenure.Why was Barron allowed to keep this credit on the cv that went out to off-campus adjudicators?

NOTE: One High School production of one of Barron's plays, is not the kind of creative activity that would be weighted heavily in promotion deliberations at CUNY Senior Colleges.
Also, Barron wrote this play in 1998. Plays written/produced over 20 years ago fall well outside the CCNY tenure/promotion guidelines that limits Barron to only using works that were created from 2012-2018 in his promotion cv.

NOTE: The information about this play was redacted. I suspect that Barron's, Consciousness of Guilt is prompting him to hide the particulars about this play.

NOTE: The musical was originally written over 25 years ago and therefore, falls well outside the CCNY tenure/promotion guidelines that limits Barron to using work created from 2012-2018 in his promotion cv.

Barron's Playwright Credits
(Minus the plays listed above that Barron used to,"embellish" his cv.)

NOTE: Being 1 out of 200 semi-finalist is not a professional distinction that would earn a candidate promotion at a CUNY Senior College.
EXCAVATION, also appears on Barron's list of his plays that fall outside his 7 year promotion window (See pp. 25 of Barron's 2018 cv.) He must have submitted an old play to the O'Neil Theatre Institute for consideration. This is a loophole that must be closed.
Barron was required to describe the process that was used to select the semi-finalists. The CCNY Tenure/Promotion Guidelines clearly state that:
"Venues of public displays or performances, including the nature of the venue
(e.g., invited, juried, selected competitively, as appropriate, with a description of procedures for selection), sponsoring organizations and/or other relevant
information that will provide perspective on the relative stature of the venue."
Professor Barron did not include a "description of procedures for selection" regarding his plays that were semi-finalists in the O'Neill Theatre's National Playwrights Conference. He never divulged the procedural information below because it would have diminished the stature of this accomplishment to know that he was 1 out of 200 semi-finalists.
